December 2010 22nd December 2010 Greetings to you all! Christmas and the New Year holiday period are about upon us once more, this year has probably been one of the fastest progressing years of late with so many things having been happening, particularly with 2010 being the 40th Anniversary Year of the Principality. The year saw the completion of many projects here in Nain, the construction of new buildings and public facilities including the new caravan and camping park. The 40th Anniversary weekend was a great success and something that will be remembered for years to come, again our thanks to all those who attended on that weekend in April to help us celebrate and particularly to the Royal Enfield Motorcycle Club of Australia who co-ordinated a "Ride to Hutt" from all over Australia, riding into Nain together in time for the opening of the celebration weekend, I am the proud owner of a RECOA vest and patch presented to me during the celebrations. To close off this eventful year in the next few days you will notice the official announcement on this website of the call for membership applications to the Royal Hutt River Golf Club Inc. and the commencement of PHR On-Line, the new on-line sales service that has been created to assist those many people who wish to obtain items such as PHR postage stamps and coins etc but find the modern era of on-line purchasing so much better than mail order. We will of course continue the mail order system as we have always done, but the option of on-line service will also be available, though we decided that we would only handle on-line transactions with a personal touch, there will be no automated transactions other than as offered by EBay on-line auctions with whom we will also be establishing an account. Only current release items of PHR stock such as currently available collector coins, postage stamps and souvenir items just as we will have available direct on-line, in fact the same items as you will find available on our website, obtainable currently only via mail order. We are also in the process of announcing a call for Research Associates to take part in the RCAR's latest Research Project entitled The Reality of "God". Applications are to be called for to present a Thesis on this subject with successful submissions to receive an MA (Master of Arts) Degree or a PGCert.Res. (Post-Graduate Certificate in Research) for submissions at Merit level from the RCAR. I must take this opportunity to thank all of our various levels of representatives around the globe who provide a magnificent service to both this Principality and myself as Sovereign and our thanks to all of our citizens abroad for their continued interest and support. It is through the help of all of these people that this Principality is able to continue its growth and advance its international standing. The Principality Office will shortly go into a "resting" position for 2 weeks as our staff, personnel and families try to get at least some level of a break from the constant stream of work, so please bear with us during this time when communications and services my be slower than usual, but understand that we all also need this time to be with family and for each to enjoy the holiday season in their own chosen way. Our next communication will be January 1st 2011 when I release the New Year Honours list for 2011. From Princess Shirley, myself and all of us here in the Principality we wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as we continue on our way in our 41st year of independence and please, in whatever you do this holiday period, please do it safely and enjoy the time. Our Best Wishes to you all!

November 2010 14th November 2010 Greetings to you all! As we head into the final stages of 2010, our 40th year of independence I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge, recognise and once again thank all those sportspersons out there representing the Principality and representing us so well this last year in so many fields of endeavour. Our sporting clubs and sports persons have been achieving very top honours and richly deserve both congratulations and recognition of their outstanding efforts. Dame Julia Galvin once again this year represented this Principality in the world championships of various novelty sports including sports such as wife carrying, bog snorkelling, stone skimming and again Dame Julia represented us with her usual gusto and enthusiasm and we are most proud to see her face featured as the face of bog snorkelling in the advertisements for the 2010 world championships held in Nth Wales U.K. We look forward to more of Dame Julia's exploits in 2011 and wish her well.
Motor Sports in 2010 have seen members of the Royal Hutt River Rally team
in action in two events during the year.
Whilst only
new to the list of Principality sporting representatives we are very proud
indeed to have on board the
Royal Hutt River Silvertails our National Bicycle Road Race Team who
competed officially representing the Principality in their new team
colours for the first time on November 7th in the
Cyclo Sportif Byford Road Race and took out first place in the B
division achieving the best time in the 64KM event. Late December will see the Hutt River Dedication Cricket Club, the Principality national cricket team, compete once again in the Willowfest Tournament. We look forward hoping for a great result this year with previous years seeing the team come close to victory but not quite get there, they claim to be fielding their strongest team yet this year so we will soon see the result and of course we wish them well in their competition.
Last mention must be given to pre-announce
the formation of the Royal Hutt River Golf Club. Congratulations to our sporting representatives: Bringing home
Gold for the Principality of Hutt River Our Best Wishes to you all!

August 2010 02nd August 2010 Greetings to you all! As many will be aware, I am most concerned with the matter of Australians having had their citizenship removed from them in 1949 and not having their rightful Australian Citizenship automatically granted in return. This is a matter that I first raised publicly in 2006 and then I released my protest on behalf of those in particular that served Australia in times of War prior to 1949 and since have had their citizenship taken from them, with the release of the Principality's LWF coin in 2007 to remember those who had been robbed of their citizenship. A matter that I have already gone on record as saying is the greatest insult to be perpetuated by a Government upon its people! I am one of those people, having been born before 1949 and served Australia in the Royal Australian Air Force during the Second World War. Apart from the problem of individual citizens numbering in the millions being affected by this slip of the pen, Australia now faces another Federal election where not only will there be many "aliens" therefore voting but the true status of many of the politicians standing for those high offices in the Australian Federal Parliament. Once again, the matter that concerns me most in this regard is, as I raised in 2007, the fact that I cannot negotiate a treaty with the Federal Government of Australia if it is not a lawful Government that I am to negotiate with. In the interest of our Citizens who may be holding Dual Citizenship, including Australian Citizenship, and are residing in Australia, we are concerned of certain factors which relate to aspects of legality in the forthcoming Australian Election. It is considered that these matters should be dealt with, and corrected where necessary, before an election is held. Surely an election should not be held whilst there are aspects of legality or eligibility not replied to or dealt with and corrected. You can read more of this intolerable situation by studying the media release that I have published in order to have this information reach both the Australian people and the people that matter in positions of power and authority in Australia. the people that are in a position to right this awful wrong done to Australians past, present and future. May 2010 19th May 2010 Greetings to you all! Another Anniversary of Secession, our 40th, has passed and what a celebration we had. Our thanks must go to all those who helped make our Celebration Weekend a weekend to remember: The Geraldton City Band and the Batavia Coast
Pipes & Drums for supplying such sights and sounds on Saturday 24th
that only large and truly professional bands can create. John & Ann Gall who provided the musical
entertainment on the Sunday evening for those of us celebrating after the
evening meal and for the "dance off" that was also held at that time. The presentations from the Royal Enfield Club, particularly the Club Vest and Patch are very appreciated and I am happy to show that I am a "Patch Member"! The presentation on behalf of the Earl Marshal of
the Royal College of Heraldry by Mr Geoffrey Poole,
Counsellor on Genealogy and Heraldry to the Earl
Marshal at the RCH Luncheon was very interesting
and I am most appreciative of the work done by the Staff of this College
for this Principality. Also thank you to those special citizens, friends and family members who arrived early to assist with the last minute preparations for catering and servicing the hundreds of people who attended and for those, including the many of our family members that worked so hard to help make the weekend the success that it was. Thank you to all those Principality Representatives, Citizens and members of the public who came to visit and take part in our Celebrations over the two days, travelling in from far and wide, many from overseas, to be with us and to be part of this historic occasion. Our thanks also for the many greetings and apologies that were received in salute and acknowledgement of our 40th Anniversary and indeed of our 63rd Wedding Anniversary; many of these salutes are to be published in the “Tributes to the Principality” section of our website Thank you to all those concerned in making our weekend an event to remember in the history of our Nation; and now is the time for us to look forward once again as we proceed on our way through our 41st Year of reign. Our Best Wishes to you all! |
