Major Barton has been a great supporter of this Principality for a number of years now, he formed the first unit of the Royal Hutt River Legion back in September 2012. In that time he and his small platoon have completed far too many actions  to report here,
but those actions are reported on the website.

Maj. Sir Ananda was presented with the Silver Bar to his MCM awarded to him by the Sovereign

Knight Commander (K.C.I.O.M.)

KCIOM

Robert James Lee-Steere
(Como, WESTERN AUSTRALIA)

Bestowed with the Rank of Knight Commander in the Illustrious Order of Merit for:.
Outstanding efforts given in agriculture and in particular the pastoral industry over very many years
and support/assistance provided HRH Prince Leonard for many years.

Prince Leonard has known Robert for many years now, he was most helpful to Prince Leonard before his days involved in farming when Prince Leonard (plain Leonard Casley as he was then) was involved in mining his own leases in the Ashburton
and Robert was running Ashburton Station.

Robert achieved a great deal in the pastoral region back when most station owners were really pioneers, they opened up the land that is in use today and in many ways bought about the roads and support networks that can now be found in the region.

At this time Roberts’s efforts are recognised by the Sovereign and he was bestowed with the rank of:
Knight Commander in the Illustrious Order of Merit.

Knight Grand Commander (K.G.C.I.O.M.)
KGCIOM
Dr. Gerhard Beukes.
(Geraldton, WESTERN AUSTRALIA)

Bestowed with the Rank of Knight Grand Commander in the Illustrious Order of Merit f
or:
his outstanding
Services to the Sovereign, the people in regional Western Australia  and to medicine in general.

Dr Beukes hails from South Africa but has now practiced in Western Australia for many years and for a number of those years now he has been the personal physician to HRH Prince Leonard and on more than one occasion he has bought Prince Leonard back from the brink of what we do not like to think of. His efforts with Prince Leonard are very much appreciated by all in and of the PHR.

Dr Beukes has also been one of the leading lights in the region with regards the diagnoses and treatment of Skin Cancer and his efforts in that one area alone deserve him to be recognised.
Whilst most Dr's prefer to remain in the large capital cities, Dr  Beukes is one who is happy to practice in a more regional area,
where good Dr's are in very short supply.

It is hoped that Dr Beukes will remain the Royal Physician for many more years yet.

Congratulations!
Dr. Sir Gerhard Beukes K.G.C.I.O.M.
