"During this period we delivered 54
"Meals on Wheels" to the aged and infirm in the town of Outlook.
On 11th November we took
part in the Royal Canadian Legion's Service of Remembrance and laid
a wreath during the ceremony. I was in charge of the ceremonial
proceedings during the service on behalf of the Royal Canadian
Legion, Outlook Branch as their "Sergeant at Arms", I have enclosed
a few photo's prior to the ceremony.
In September my wife and I
moved approx 200 miles north of the town of Outlook to village of
Ridgedale where Shirley was born. This move was brought on by our
wanting to be nearer to relations and friends due to our ongoing
health problems.
The Outlook Troop will
continue to serve the community in that area as usual and the
following members were promoted to co-inside with their extra duties
:-
Mark Verwimp - promoted to
Commissioner with the position of Troop Commandant as from 2nd
August.
Commissioner Carmela
Verwimp - to the position of Troop Administrator as from 2nd August.
Janice Bennett - promoted
to Commissioner with the position of Publicity Officer as from 2nd
August.
I continue to keep my
"fingers on the pulse" and am in weekly contact with Commissioner C.
Verwimp"
